I came across this primrose in a beautiful spot next to Denny Creek, outside of Buena Vista. I spotted the magenta flowers and felt immediately drawn to them. They’ve remained one of my most favorites since. It’s named after Charles Parry, a botanist who studied Colorado’s high country.
